Statement on the Expulsion of Member (A.M.) as Vice President
Due to the circumstances and developments that hinder our collective work and internal organization, we, the Progressive Moroccan Movement, hereby announce our decision to expel the member Mr. (A.M.) from the ranks of the movement and to dismiss him from his position as Vice President for the following reasons:- Continuous Absence: We have observed that the member (A.M.) has been absent for a prolonged period without providing any justification or excuse, which has disrupted collective work and negatively impacted the activities of the movement.
- Negligence in Duties: The absence of the member (A.M.) from performing his duties and responsibilities as Vice President has significantly affected the operations and organization within the movement.
- Failure to Attend Meetings: Despite repeated invitations to attend the executive committee meetings of the movement, the member (A.M.) did not respond and showed no interest in actively participating in these meetings.
- Suspected Adoption of Violent Approaches: There is suspicion that the member (A.M.) has adopted violent approaches, which is completely contrary to the principles of the Progressive Moroccan Movement that always emphasizes peaceful and civil struggle in all forums, and rejects violence in all its forms.
Based on the aforementioned reasons, we officially announce the expulsion of the member (A.M.) from the ranks of the movement and his dismissal from the position of Vice President. We reaffirm that the movement will remain committed to its peaceful and activist principles and goals, and will continue to work towards achieving change through peaceful and civil means.
Additionally, we will call on all members of the movement, including executive committee members, to nominate themselves for the position of Vice President. We believe that this step will contribute to enhancing internal democracy within the movement and ensuring better representation of its members in leadership.
We urge all members to adhere to the principles of the movement and collective work to achieve its goals, and we emphasize the need for discipline and commitment to the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them.
