In a recent article published in Brazil, coinciding with the movements of Abdellatif Hammouchi alongside the head of the Brazilian Federal Police on Tuesday, May 8, 2024, journalist Pedro Cesar Batista received in his program "Brasilia Noticias" Mr. Mrani Driss, the head of the Moroccan Progressive Movement. Mr. Driss, who is working against the royal regime for the liberation of his people and support of Western Sahara, discussed the current situation in Morocco.
Mr. Driss, who has been residing in Brazil for two years, explained that the Moroccan Progressive Movement was founded by Moroccan activists. He said: "Currently, the movement has grown thanks to the support of the international left, in addition to media support and discussions and meetings with politicians from various countries."
According to Mr. Driss, Morocco today plays a role similar to Israel's role in the Middle East, meaning destabilizing the region so that the United States can advance in its global political occupation. He said: "Morocco plays the same role within North Africa, and is also trying to engage a little in the politics of East Africa."
According to the head of the Moroccan Progressive Movement, the situation in the country is not good. "Moroccans suffer from oppressive conditions that affect every aspect of their lives, leaving them no choice but to surrender to their situation. They are tired of complaining about the suffering that has become a constant part of their lives."
